About
Chunzi
Every photo I took, is for you.
I always wanted to see and
experience the world, and that's what I love doing, but I really didn't know
how to communicate and share with others of the stories I see until I truly
started getting serious about photography on the day I became the student at
Southeast Center of Photographic Studies. There I explored all kinds of photo
possibilities and eventually I fell in love with photojournalism. I know that
has been a call for a life time, and that's what I truly love deep in heart and
soul. So here it is, with my Nikon and a lot of times along with an iPhone, I
started to walk out to the world and catching those amazing moments which have
changed me forever as a person. Life is a spectrum with the widest
possibilities of colors, and I wanted to see them all - so I pushed myself into
as many places as I can go, every time further and deeper. Along this journey I
have been changed deep inside by seeing, talking to and learning from others
and the nature. It's the deep human contact which is so truthful and honest,
and it is that profound and peaceful nature make me never want to put my camera
down. When I'm looking at those eyes which are full of souls through my lens,
they are responding back to me at the same time. It's the communication among
me and others and the stories I share through photography make my soul complete
and fulfilled. We are living in a real world and every thing is connected, we
can't survive without having each other and that's all we have at the end of
the day. It's compassion and love eventually
unite us and make everything as powerful as it can be. Photojournalism is one
of many ways we witness, share, and deliver this energy to the world around us.I love diving in springs and oceans
with one or two Gopro at my free time, also drawing and reading as much as
I can, for I realized a while ago that the reason of everything I do - is for
others.
